Repair Procedures: Disassembly

  1. Remove the idler (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    39.2 - 49.0 N.m (4.0 - 5.0 kgf.m, 28.9 - 36.2 lb-ft)

  2. Remove the OAP cap (A).

    NOTE:
    • When installing, replace with new OAP cap.
  3. Remove the OAP pulley (A) by using the SST (09373-27000).

  4. Remove the alternator cover (A) after loosening the mounting nut.

  5. Remove the regulator assembly (A).

  6. Unsolder the stator leads (A).

  7. Remove the rectifier assembly (A).

  8. Remove the 4 through bolts (A).

  9. Separate the rotor (A) and cover (B).

  10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
