DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Message Monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty P-CAN communication circuit
  3. Faulty PCM
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is at between 9 and 16V
  • Engine speed is higher than 32 RPM
  • Delay time after engine start is more than 0.5 seconds
Threshold Value
  • Duration of communication lost with TCM for more than 0.1s
Diagnostic Time
  • 1.5 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
