Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Engine OFF timer drive in ECU
  1. Poor connector condition
  2. Poor battery condition
  3. Faulty PCM
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON" or EMS operation (30 seconds after ignition "OFF")
Threshold Value
  • Difference between the engine operation time calculated by the main microcomputer and the engine operation time calculated by the external microcom is more than 9.5%
Diagnostic Time
  • 1 second
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
