DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check during fuel cut off
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty upstream O2 sensor
Enable Condition
  • Fuel cut-off is activated for more than 3 seconds
  • Possible range of sensor's wide pump current
  • Oxygen sensor heating section
  • Exhaust gas temperature model is more than 1256°F (680°C)
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • If the sensor current is more than 12 mA or less than 0.6 mA in the fuel cut state
Diagnostic Time
  • 2 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
