Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty HO2S B1S2 circuit
  3. Faulty HO2S B1S2
  4. Faulty PCM
Enable Condition
  • No fuel cut-off
  • No full load phase
  • No catalyst overheating protection
  • Battery voltage is at between 10 and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Rear HO2S signal is lower than 0.75V when lambda set point is equal 0.80
  • Downstream O2 sensor signal too low
Diagnostic Time
  • 7s after lambda set point shift to corresponding side
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
