Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Characteristic Monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty HO2S
  3. Restricted of fuel filter in fuel pump
  4. Faulty PCM
Enable Condition
  • Wide range sensor pump current valid
  • Downstream O2 sensor operative readiness
  • Active test not activated
  • Engine speed is higher than 600 RPM
  • Mass air flow is lower than 83g/s (300kg/h)
  • Exhaust gas temperature is at between 300°C (572°F) and 800°C (1472°F)
Threshold Value
  • Plausibility between upstream and downstream
  • Upstream lean & downstream rich & lambda controller limit or upstream rich & downstream lean & lambda controller limit
Diagnostic Time
  • Less than 1300 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
