Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Intake VFS monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Oil leak
  3. Engine oil contamination Vacuum leakage
  4. Faulty intake VFS
  5. Intake VFS filter contamination
  6. Faulty CVVT assembly (intake)
Enable Condition
  • Catalyst heating is active
Threshold Value
  • Deviation of target angle and actual angle is higher than 10°
Diagnostic Time
  • 5 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
