Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring sensor signal
  1. Poor connection
  2. Oil pressure sensor circuit error
  3. Abnormal variable oil pump circuit
  4. Adjustable oil pump
  5. Faulty OPS
Enable Condition Case 1
  • Engine running status (engine speed higher than 0 RPM)
Case 2
  • Engine speed more than 4000 RPM
  • Over 10 seconds elapsed after engine operation
Threshold Value Case 1
  • When the engine oil pressure is less than 1300 to 3500 hPa
Case 2
  • When the engine oil pressure is less than 2700 hPa
Diagnostic Time Case 1
  • 2 seconds
Case 2
  • 0.01 second
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
