Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Comparison between actual and target oil pressure
  1. Poor connection
  2. Closing the variable oil pump
  3. Variable oil pump opening and clamping
  4. Variable oil pump
  5. Faulty OPS
Enable Condition
  • Engine running status
Threshold Value Case 1
  • When the engine oil pressure is over 300 kPa
Case 2
  • When the engine oil pressure is less than 1000 kPa
Diagnostic Time Case 1
  • 10 seconds
Case 2
  • 20 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
