DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Ignition efficiency Monitoring during catalyst heating
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Intake system limitations
  3. Vacuum leakage
  4. Exhaust clogging
  5. Engine mechanical problems
  6. Throttle body contamination
  7. Faulty ETC
Enable Condition
  • More than 3 seconds after entering the catalyst heating
  • Barometric pressure is higher than 750 hPa
  • Vehicle speed is same as 0 km/h (0 mph)
  • Engine load less than 55%
Threshold Value
  • Deviation of average ignition efficiency during 10s (Actual efficiency-Target efficiency) Is higher than threshold
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 seconds (once per driving cycle)
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
