Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty EGR valve position sensor circuit
  3. Faulty EGR valve position sensor
Enable Condition
  • The study of valve lowest position is completed
Threshold Value
  • EGR actuator valve position sensor output voltage is lower than 3.5V or higher than 4.51V
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.1 second
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
