Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • EGR flow check
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short to battery in EGR valve motor circuit
  3. Faulty EGR valve
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V
Threshold Value
  • EGR actuator motor circuit is shorted to battery
Diagnostic Time
  • 1 second
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
