Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Noisy Signal Monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty FLS circuit
  3. Faulty FLS
Enable Condition Case 1
  • Vehicle Speed higher than 22 mph (35.4 km/h)
  • 200s after start
  • Wheel speed gradient more than 1.8± during 20s
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
Case 2
  • Evaporative system leakage monitor status waiting period or leak check period
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Difference between measured Fuel Tank Level and Filtered Fuel Tank Level higher than 45%
Case 2
  • Difference between Filtered Fuel Tank Level and Raw Fuel Tank Level higher than 12 to 14%
Diagnostic Time Case 1
  • 50 step (5s 100 counts)
Case 2
  • 25 step (2.5s 100 counts)
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
