Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal Stuck
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Faulty FLS circuit
  3. Faulty FLS
Enable Condition
  • Cumulated Fuel Consumption more than 5.28 gal (20L) [30% of tank capacity]
  • No relevant DTC present
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Filtered FLS change after 30% of tank capacity fuel consumption lower than 5%
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.1 second
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
