Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short in PCSV control circuit
  3. Faulty PCSV
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • Canister purge duty is between 2% and 98%
Threshold Value
  • Short to battery in control circuit
  • Output current more than 2.2A
Diagnostic Time
  • 2 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
