Detecting Condition |
Possible Cause |
| DTC Strategy |
- Monitoring Fuel Tank Pressure During Evacuation
|
- Poor connector connection
- Faulty fuel filler cap
- Leaking disconnected or plugged fuel vapor lines
- Faulty CCV
- Faulty PCSV
- Faulty canister
|
| Enable Condition |
- Engine Coolant temperature (ECT) higher than 45°C (113° F)
- Ambient Air temperature model higher than -8°C (17.6°F)
- Vehicle speed lower than 12 km/h (7.5 mph)
- Fuel level less than 85%
- Barometric pressure higher than 75 kPa
- Canister load less than 0.35
- Minimum canister purge time more than 3s in case of canister load less than or equal to 0.1
- Minimum canister purge time more than 25s in case of canister load more than or equal to 0.1
- Engine speed lower than 1500 RPM
- Pedal value less than 0.01%(Pedal sensor 1 voltage 0.859V, not pushed at all)
- Differential fuel tank pressure is greater than -1100 Pa and less than 420 Pa
- Minimum drive time check done one time since engine start (Vehicle speed higher than 24 km/h (14 mph) during 60s)
- 60s since last EVAP monitoring test abortion
- Modeled Ambient Pressure gradient during uphill driving lower than 1.08 psi (0.075 bar)
- Time elapse in case of refueling identification is greater than 600s
- Battery voltage higher than 10V
|
| Threshold Value |
- It takes more than 20 seconds to make the fuel tank pressure below the -0.22 psi (-0.015 bar)
|
| Diagnostic Time |
- Idle period for 25 seconds (after all diagnostic operating conditions are met)
