Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short to battery or open in FTPS signal circuit
  3. Faulty FTPS
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage lower than 11V and higher than 16V
  • No relevant DTC present
Threshold Value
  • FTPS pressure signal higher than 4.9V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
