DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring Fuel Tank Pressure Trend after Evacuation
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Air leak in PCSV hose
  3. Damaged or missing fuel filler cap
  4. Faulty or damaged fuel filler pipe
  5. Leaking, disconnected or plugged fuel vapor line
  6. Faulty PCSV
  7. Faulty CCV
  8. Faulty canister
  9. Faulty fuel tank pressure sensor
Enable Condition

  • Ambient Air temperature model higher than -10°C (14°F)
  • Vehicle speed lower than 12 km/h (7.4 mph)
  • Fuel level less than 85%
  • 100s after engine start
  • Ambient pressure model more than 10.87 psi (0.75 bar)
  • Canister load less than 0.35
  • Minimum canister purge time more than 3s in case of canister load less than or equal to 0.1
  • Minimum canister purge time more than 25s in case of canister load more than or equal to 0.1
  • Engine speed higher lower than 1400 to 2500 RPM depending on ECT
  • Pedal value less than 0.01%(Pedal sensor 1 voltage 0.859V, not pushed at all)
  • Differential fuel tank pressure is greater than -1100 Pa and less than 400 Pa
  • Minimum drive time check done one time since engine start (Vehicle speed higher than 24 km/h (15 mph) during 60s)
