Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty EGR actuator circuit
  3. EGR actuator stuck
  4. Faulty EGR actuator
Enable Condition
  • EGR control duty more than 40% for more than 5 seconds
Threshold Value
  • Open in EGR actuator circuit is detected (internal resistance over 5000Ω)
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.1 second
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
