Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Sensor signal error occurs during one crank rotation
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty CMPS harness
  3. Target wheel damage
  4. Faulty intake CMPS
Enable Condition
  • Engine synchronized
Threshold Value
  • More than 4 times the sensor signal change is not detected
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.1 second
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
