Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal Plausibility Monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Noise
  3. Short in harness
  4. Target wheel
  5. Faulty CKPS
Enable Condition
  • Engine synchronized
  • Engine speed more than 512 RPM
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Tooth number check (Number of missing/additional teeth is higher than 1)
Case 2
  • Tooth number check (Number of missing/additional teeth is higher than 2)
Diagnostic Time Case 1
  • 5 revolution
Case 2
  • 3 revolution
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
