Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Open or short to battery in signal harness
  3. Open in ground harness
  4. Faulty OTS
  5. Faulty PCM
Enable Condition
  • If there are no related errors
  • ECT more than -9°C (15.8°F) or 300 seconds after start up
  • Battery voltage is between 9.96 and 16.05V
Threshold Value
  • OTS output voltage is more than 4.96V
Diagnostic Time
  • 12.5 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
