Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the deviation of short term fuel trim
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Restricted intake system
  3. Fuel injector leaking
  4. Improper fuel pressure
Enable Condition
  • No Failure detection for DTCs
  • Closed loop fuel control
  • ECTS is more than 60°C (140°F)
Threshold Value
  • STFT value at MIN. limit for more than 40 seconds of total monitoring time
  • SFTF is more than -30%
Diagnostic Time
  • 90 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
