Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the deviation of short term fuel trim
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Air leakage
  3. Improper fuel pressure
  4. PCV valve stuck
  5. Restricted injector
  6. Fuel system
Enable Condition
  • No Failure detection for DTCs
  • Closed loop fuel control
  • ECTS is more than 60°C (140°F)
Threshold Value
  • STFT value at MAX. limit for more than 40 seconds of total monitoring time
  • SFTF is more than 50%
Diagnostic Time
  • 90 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
