Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the deviation of short term fuel trim
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Air leakage or restriction in intake or exhaust system
  3. Dirty engine oil or oil level too high
  4. Faulty PCV
  5. Faulty injector
  6. Faulty fuel system
  7. Faulty EVAP system
  8. Faulty sensor signals
Enable Condition
  • Fuel trim is active status
  • ECTS is more than 73°C (163°F)
Threshold Value
  • SFTF is less than -30%
Diagnostic Time
  • 90 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
