Detecting Condition |
Possible Cause |
| DTC Strategy |
- Sensor signal response time monitoring (Rich to Lean)
|
- Poor connector connection
- Downstream oxygen sensor contamination
- Faulty HO2S
|
| Enable Condition |
- Battery voltage higher than 10.7V
- Engine speed is between 1320 and 3520 RPM
- Exhaust gas temperature model higher than 150°C (302° F)
- Exhaust gas flow rate higher than 6 kg/h
- Exhaust gas flow fluctuation amount between -150 and 150 kg/h
- Fuel system is in the fuel cut-off state
- HO2S signal higher than 0.67V before the fuel cut
|
| Threshold Value |
- When the amount of oxygen acid is more than 3000 mg - Measured when sensor voltage fluctuates at 0.63V during fuel cut section
|
| Diagnostic Time |
- 3 valid fuel cut-off (once per driving cycle)
|
