DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Sensor signal response time monitoring (Rich to Lean)
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Downstream oxygen sensor contamination
  3. Faulty HO2S
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage higher than 10.7V
  • Engine speed is between 1320 and 3520 RPM
  • Exhaust gas temperature model higher than 150°C (302° F)
  • Exhaust gas flow rate higher than 6 kg/h
  • Exhaust gas flow fluctuation amount between -150 and 150 kg/h
  • Fuel system is in the fuel cut-off state
  • HO2S signal higher than 0.67V before the fuel cut
Threshold Value
  • When the amount of oxygen acid is more than 3000 mg - Measured when sensor voltage fluctuates at 0.63V during fuel cut section
Diagnostic Time
  • 3 valid fuel cut-off (once per driving cycle)
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
