Detecting Condition |
Possible Cause |
| DTC Strategy |
- Sensor signal fluctuation time monitoring (Rich to Lean)
|
- Poor connector connection
- Downstream oxygen sensor contamination
- Faulty HO2S
|
| Enable Condition |
- Downstream HO2S element resistance is less than 1kΩ
- Downstream HO2S heater max heating
- Downstream HO2S normal heating duration for more than 117.6s
- Downstream HO2S internal resistance is less than 3kΩ
- Catalyst temperature model is more than 487°C (908.6° F)
- MAFS between 10 and 50 kg/h
- Integrated HO2S load not in rich to lean
- Downstream HO2S signal is more than 0.6V at initial fuel cut-off entry
- Battery voltage between 10 and 16V
|
| Threshold Value |
- Signal gradient from 0.6 to 0.3V at initial fuel cut off entry - out of range (signal gradient average is less than 1500 mV/s)
|
| Diagnostic Time |
- 3 valid fuel cut-off (once per driving cycle)
