Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Open in downstream O2 sensor signal circuit
  3. Open in downstream O2 sensor ground circuit
  4. Faulty downstream O2 sensor
Enable Condition
  • O2 sensor operative readiness
  • O2 sensor preheating and full heating phases finished
  • No relevant failure
  • Battery voltage between 10 - 16V
Threshold Value
  • Downstream HO2S voltage between 0.37 and 0.49V
  • Downstream HO2S element resistance is more than 60kΩ
Diagnostic Time
  • 30 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
