DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Coolant Temperature too low for Lambda regulation
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Faulty Cooling System
  3. Faulty ECT sensor
Enable Condition
  • Engine coolant temperature is below 0°C (32°F)
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
  • ECT changes according to the time immediately after starting the engine: 50 seconds → 0°C (32°F), 100 seconds → 8°C (46.4°F), 200 seconds → 20°C (68°F), 300 seconds → 35°C (95°F)
  • If there are no related errors
Threshold Value
  • If the coolant temperature continues below 0°C (32°F) even after starting the engine
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediately
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
