- Engine off time is more than 5 hours at cooling temperature above 0°C (32°F)
- Engine off time is more than 7 hours at coolant temperature above 90°C (194°F)
- Block heater error not detected (block heater monitoring under the conditions below)
- Difference between the current coolant temperature and the coolant temperature at start-up is below 2.25°C (36.05°F)
- Coolant temperature below 50.25°C (122.45°F)
- Less than 30 seconds after starting

- When the difference between the temperature sensor average (coolant temperature 2, intake temperature) and coolant temperature 1 at startup is over 20°C (68°F)
