DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Noise check
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Open or short in IAT sensor circuit
  3. Faulty IAT sensor
Enable Condition
  • Vehicle speed higher than 50 km/h
  • Air flow rate between 24 and 300 kg/h
  • The above two conditions are satisfied for more than 8 seconds
Threshold Value
  • When the absolute difference between the sensor output voltage and the sensor output voltage filter value is more than 0.498V
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
