Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Short to battery or open in IAT signal circuit
  3. Faulty IAT Sensor
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is more than 6V
  • Time after start for more than 105s, if air temperature at start-up s more than -30°C (-22°F)
Threshold Value
  • IATS voltage is greater than 4.85V
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
