Repair Procedures: Removal

- Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Remove the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "BATTERY ")
- Loosen the nut (A) and then separate the shift cable (B).
- Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Body - "FLOOR CONSOLE ")
- Remove the snap pin (A) and then separate the shift cable socket (B).
- Loosen the nuts and then removing the shift cable retainer (A).
- Remove the shift cable (A) by pulling it toward the interior.
