Trouble shooting Prerequisite condition Possible Cause

  • Monitor the CAN communication
  1. Poor contact of connector
  2. Short in P-CAN communication circuit
  3. Faulty control module
Prerequisite condition
  • PCM power is ON for more than 500 ms
  • Battery voltage: 10V or more/16V or less
  • Output shaft RPM: 400 RPM or more
Threshold Value
  • CAN line BUS off is detected
Detecting Time
  • 2 sec
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
