Trouble Shooting Prerequisite condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the voltage range (Open/Short)
  1. Open/Short in circuit
  2. Faulty driven pulley pressure sensor
  3. Faulty PCM
Prerequisite condition Case 1
  • Battery voltage: 10V or more
  • Engine RPM: 350 or more
  • Shift lever switch: "D" or "Sports" (Forward gear)
  • Shift lever oil temperature: 0°C or more
Case 2
  • Battery voltage: 10V or more
  • Engine RPM: 350 or more
  • Solenoid "ON"
  • APS 0% or less
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Sensor output value: 2.5 V ~ 3.5V
Case 2
  • 4 bar or more pressure difference between the target driven pulley pressure and the current driven pulley pressure
Detecting Time
  • 6 sec
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
Fail safe
  • Learning should not be performed
