Trouble shooting Prerequisite condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the turbine speed sensor signal
  1. Poor contact of connector
  2. Faulty primary speed sensor circuit
  3. Faulty primary speed sensor
Prerequisite condition
  • Battery voltage: 10V or more
  • Engine RPM: 350 or more
  • Shift lever switch: "D" or "Sports" (Forward gear)
  • Shift lever oil temperature: -10°C or more
  • Primary Pulley sensor RPM: 600 or more
  • 1 sec after shifting the lever
Threshold Value
  • Speed sensor pulse: 0 RPM
Detecting Time
  • 4 sec
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
