DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble shooting Prerequisite condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the output shaft speed sensor signal
  1. Poor contact of connector
  2. Faulty output shaft speed sensor circuit
  3. Faulty output shaft speed sensor
Prerequisite condition
  • Battery voltage: 10V or more
  • Engine RPM: 350 or more
  • Vehicle speed: 50 km/h or more
  • Shift lever switch: "D" or "Sports" (Forward gear)
  • Shift lever oil temperature: -10°C or more
Threshold Value
  • Output shaft speed sensor's vehicle speed: less than the calculated value (=vehicle speed * 0.3) or higher than the calculated value (=vehicle speed * 1.7).

    ex) Vehicle speed: 50 km/h, -> less than 15 km/h or higher than 85 km/h)
