Trouble shooting Prerequisite condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the signal
  1. "N" setting failure
  2. Faulty shift lever assembly
  3. Poor contact of connector
  4. Faulty inhibitor circuit
  5. Faulty inhibitor switch
  6. Faulty PCM/TCM
Prerequisite condition
  • Turn ignition switch "ON"
  • Battery voltage is 10V or more
Threshold Value
  • Invalid range signal is detected (S1, S2 signal is out of range (93% to 97%))
Detecting Time
  • 4 sec
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
