Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS) #1
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the air duct and air intake hose.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (A).
- Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor after loosening mounting bolt (B).
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor #1 mounting bolt:
9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
NOTE:- Note that engine coolant may flow out from the water temperature control assembly when removing the sensor.
