Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove valve core and deflate the tire.
  2. Remove the side of the tire bead area from the wheel using tire changing machine.

    NOTE:
    • Check that the bead breaker is sufficiently spaced from the TPMS sensor.
    • Beads are removed at 90, 180, and 270 degrees from the valve.
  3. Rotate the wheel clockwise.

    NOTE:
    • Position the TPMS sensor at 12 o'clock from the head of the tire changer.
    • Do not impact the sensor when lifting the bead with a lever.
