Component Inspection

  1. Visual check
    • Check the brake pads for wear and fade.
    • Check the brake disc for damage and deformation.
    • Check the brake tubes for cracks, crimps and corrosion.
    • Check brake hose mounting bracket for crack or deformation.
  2. Did you find a cause?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Fault can be intermittent, caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ESP (ESC)'s connector. Or, ESP (ESC) memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
