Waveform check

Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
Connect the probe of VMI to CAN LOW and HIGH terminals.
Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
Measure waveform between CAN HIGH and LOW terminals of the ESP (ESC) and chassis ground.
Specification: HIGH terminal is normally 3.5V while LOW is 1.5V, the gap is approx. 2V

Is the result over 4V?
YES
- There seems to be a short circuit to power in harness. Repair short to power and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to next procedure.
Is the result below 1V?
YES
- There seems to be a short circuit to ground in harness. Repair short to ground and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to next procedure.
