Open or Short Check

  1. Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
  2. Disconnect ECM connector.
  3. Measure resistance between ground terminal of the PCM (ECM) harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Below. 1Ω

  4. Is the result within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Repair open or short in ground circuit between the PCM (ECM) harness connector and chassis ground and then, Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR "
