longitudinal G sensor Calibration

  1. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  2. Stand the vehicle on a flat ground without any inclination.
  3. Set the steering wheel at the center position.
  4. Keep the vehicle under normal tire pressure condition and normal loading condition.
  5. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  6. Perform Longitudinal G Sensor Calibration in "Vehicle S/W Management" menu of the GDS. (Figure below)

  7. Is "Longitudinal sensor's calibration" completed normally?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Replace it with a new SRSCM and see if it properly operates. If the problem is cleared, put the new SRSCM in place and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

      * In a case of replacing the SRSCM, follow the replacement procedure of the DTC B1620 (Internal fault-Replace SRSCM) of the SRSCM and then perform "longitudinal G sensor Calibration" in "Vehicle S/W Management" menu of the GDS. (refer to C128504 )
