Component Inspection
- Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
- Connect GDS to DLC (Data Link Cable).
- Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
- Clear the DTC using GDS.
- Step on and off the brake pedal several times.
- Check the DTC. Did the DTC return?
YES
- Replace it with a new ESP (ESC) and check for its operation. If okay, put the new ESP (ESC) in place and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
NO
- This failure can be a intermittent failure of the sensor. go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
