Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat - tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the front bumper assembly.
(Refer to Front Bumper - "FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the front bumper energy absorber (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the radiator grille cover (A).
- Loosen the radiator grille mounting screws.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, pull the clip upward and remove the radiator grille (A).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Information
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin - type retainers).
