Check for open in harness
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect ICU and PCM/ECM connector.
- Measure resistance between signal terminal of ICU harness connector and PCM/ECM harness connector
Specification: 1 Ω or less
- Is the measured resistance within specifications?
YES
- Go to "CHECK FOR SHORT IN HARNESS " procedure.
NO
- Check for open in signal harness. Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
