Ground Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) connector.
  3. Disconnect rear camera connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between ground terminal of rear camera harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 1Ω below.

  5. Connect battery (-) cable.
  6. Parking brake "ON" & Ignition "ON" & Gear Position "R".
  7. Measure the voltage between power terminal of rear camera harness connector and chassis ground. (A)
  8. Measure the voltage between power terminal and ground of rear camera harness connector. (B)

    Specification:  Difference in (A) and (B) is less than 200 mV

  9. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO
