Check Open in CAN communication Line

  1. Turn the Ignition switch 'OFF'.
  2. Disconnect AEB (SCC) Module connector and ABS/ESP connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between C-CAN High terminal of AEB (SCC) Module harness connector and C-CAN High terminal of ABS/ESP harness connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between C-CAN Low terminal of AEB (SCC) Module harness connector and C-CAN Low terminal of ABS/ESP harness connector.

    Specification:  Below 1Ω

  5. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Check ABS/ESP Module connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • Substitute with a known-good ABS/ESP Module and check for proper operation.

    If the problem is corrected, replace Module and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
