Check short to ground in CAN communication Line

  1. Turn the Ignition switch 'OFF'.
  2. Connect AEB (SCC) Module and each Module connector.
  3. Measure resistance between C-CAN High terminal of AEB (SCC) Module and chassis ground.
  4. Measure resistance between C-CAN Low terminal of AEB (SCC) Module and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Infinity Ω

  5. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Check engine ECM/PCM, Cluster, AEB (SCC) Module and each Module connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Check short to battery in communication line. And then, go to 'Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
    • Check short to ground in communication line. And then, go to 'Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
    • Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
